Accepted into the WPJA!!!!

We recently applied for membership with the Wedding Photojournalist Association and found out today that we were accepted!!. This is a trade association for wedding photographer who place an emphasis on the photojournalistic style. This means capturing moments as they happen and not "posing" them. The WPJA has strict standards that must be met before issuing membership.

By documenting your wedding in the pj style, your pictures will reveal the raw moods and emotions of your wedding day. Of course, no wedding is complete without a few formal pictures. That's why our unique mix of style is attracting clients from all over the state. There are currently only six other photographers in Arkansas who have been accepted into the WPJA. Meghan & Trent's wedding

Meghan and Trent were married this past Saturday, July 22 at 1st Baptist Church in Monticello. I have really enjoyed working with them and their family. Meghan and Trent, to me, are just perfect together, and adorable! It is great to see the love they have for each other.

Lindsey & Brian's Wedding

Lindsey and Brian were married on July 15th at Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs. They were married in the newly built Anthony's Chapel. It was such a beautiful location for a wedding and we were so excited to get to work there! Lindsey and Brian's reception was at the Garden, and then they took a boat ride to Lake Hamilton Resort for a fun party afterwards. Debbie & Josh's wedding

I want to apologize to Debbie and Josh for not posting them a sneak peak of their wedding! I just realized I didn't do it! Debbie and Josh were a great couple. They were married right in front of the building that they met in.....7 yrs ago! Since then, this beautiful fountain was built, and it was a perfect and beautiful setting for their wedding! This turned out to be a very joyous occasion with a fun reception following!

We want to Thank Erin, Debbie's close friend and bridesmaid, for referring Debbie to us. It was great to get to meet Brandon, and to get to work with Erin. They are getting married in Noevember, and we will also be photographing their wedding. We look forward to it, and also to getting to see Debbie again, as she will be one or Erin's bridesmaids. This is one of my favorites of them together.
