Miriam

This is the last picture I took. I just thought her little feet looked adorable propped on her mom's leg. Anyone that knows me, knows I always have to include feet!

Miriam is 6 months old, and just adorable! I photographed her parent's engagement photos, and didn't even realize that they moved to a house just 5 houses down from me!! It was great to work with them again, and I know how proud they are of their beautiful little girl!!!

Colleen....Teen Miss Rodeo

Congratulations to Colleen Carr for winning Teen Miss Rodeo Arkansas! She came over last Friday to have me take some photos for the Teen Miss website. I always enjoy working with Colleen, she is a beautiful girl, with a personality to go along with. I know exactly why she won!

Dalton is 3!!

Dalton had a great birthday party last Monday. She turned 3 years old and she is such a big girl!! Her parents got her a bike, and she hopped on that thing and rode like a pro! They also had the fun blow up slide again, and the kids all had a blast! It is so fun to take their picture to see the crazy faces and body contortions they make when jumping!

Happy Anniversary to US!

August 7th was our 7th year Anniversary! We were at Dalton's birthday party, and I swung the camera around to get a quick picture of us for our day! Clay will love me for posting this! I just want to take a minute to say how blessed we have been these 7 years. Clay is my very best friend, and treats me way better than I deserve sometimes!! In these 7 years, we have built a beautiful family with 3 precious children, a strong marriage, and successful business that we are so proud of! Clay has been such an encouragement to me...I would have never began this business without him. He is the backbone of it, and he does an amazing job! We are total opposites, yet it works for us. I believe our opposites are what has made this business the success it is, we compliment each other. I jsut want to say how much I truly love Clay, and I thank God everyday for the blessings in my life. I pray we have MANY more wonderful years together!

My sister is getting married!

I can't believe my little sister Kara is getting married!!! They got engaged last Saturday, and then we did their engagement pictures on Sunday! They will be getting married in December, and I will be the matron of honor, Leah and Rachel will be flower girls, and Noah the ring bearer. Clay will be taking the pictures.....so we are all excited! I am helping her plan, so I will get a taste of what all our brides are going through! Nick is a great guy, and I am very happy to welcome him to our family!

Noah's Party!

A week after his birthday, we had a party for him. We invited several kids and had the party at our church fellowship hall. This is the first time we have done anything like this for him, and he was really excited! We are so thankful everyone got to come! Instead of having cake, I made mini cupcakes (thanks to a friends great idea!) and they had a blast icing them themselves! Thank you so much to Robin for taking the pictures for us. I just finished making a DVD slideshow of his party, and it is just GREAT! I wouldn't have had these pics without help! It is too hard to enjoy your child's party, take care of everything, AND take pictures! Even Photographers need help!

Noah is 5!

I have not put any pictures of my kids on here in forever, so I thought I would show you guys a few pics from Noah's birthday. He turned 5 on July 27th, and I can't believe he is ready to start kindergarten!! We really try to make a special day as a family for our kids birthday. Leah's birthday was while we were on vacation on the beach. Rachel's will be in September and we are going to take her to the zoo, her favorite place. Noah wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese. We had a BLAST! I can remember having my 6th birthday party there so many years ago, and the picture of Leah coming down the slide reminds me of one my parents took of me. Then afterwards, he got to go to Toys R Us and get a balloon and crown and spend his giftcard. Here are a few pics.

Michelle and TJ's wedding

Michelle and TJ were married in Little Rock on August 5th at St. John's Seminary. There reception was in the Clinton Presidential Library, and it was an awesome location! They have family and friends come from all over to join them for their beautiful day. Clay and I loved working with them, and it was such a great day! We captured a lot of great moments that day, and I had a really tough time picking out the images for the blog!
Everyone got ready for the wedding at the Peabody Hotel.

The guys getting ready to leave for the ceremony........

And the GIRLS, leaving to go to the ceremony. We took the service elevator so there wasn't a chance TJ would see Michelle!

This was taken right after the ceremony. I just love the happiness in their expression!

Michelle and TJ

I thought the architecture was just absolutely beautiful!

Michelle's parents were celebrating their 28th wedding anniversary that night.

How cool it is that their oldest daughter will share the same day with them!

There was an artist there that created this scene of their first dance. She did this entire painting during the reception, and it was AWESOME! What a wonderful gift to remember their wedding day!
All of the groomsmen were singing to Michelle. They were such a fun group!

Melissa and Drew's Wedding

Melissa and Drew were married on July 29th at Park Hill Baptist Church in North Little Rock. We were excited to get to work at this church again, and we got to see a couple of past brides and their mom's. It is so fun to see familiar faces! Melissa and Drew were a blast, and always had a smile! Thank you for chosing us as your photographer!

These kids were so fun, and we had to make this goofy face, just for Drew's little brother!

Melissa's flowers were gorgeous, and very special, some of them came from her grandfather's garden!

Clay was able to capture this one of Melissa peeking in while she was waiting to walk down the isle.

Melissa was walked down the isle by her grandfather, but then her mother gave her away, very special!
