There is a lot more pics to come...we took over 3 hundred, so I need to pick out what I want to show you and tell you about.
Have I ever told you I am DEATHLY afraid of bridges??? I feel almost paralyzed when we drive over one....and with all the big trucks around you......so glad I wasn't driving! ....The Memphis Zoo!
I am deathly afraid of bridges too-when I was little I would get into the floorboard when I knew one was coming up-I am getting better-unless it is a huge, long rickety bridge.....LOL
I want to go to the Memphis Zoo!!!Jamie helped build some of that when he worked at a different job of his-I have always wanted to see that too!
I LOVE Memphis and I LOVE this bridge! Growing up in Searcy and having relatives in West Tennessee meant that I crossed this bridge at least 20 times a year. I knew where you went when I saw the very first picture. That skyline was the signal that told us we were almost at my aunt and uncle's house!
I'm so glad you took a day to go somewhere new and have fun. Way to go!
I love the Memphis Zoo. We took a mini vacation there a few years back. The kids loved Liberty Land or something like that.... There's a great museum that I had to drag them out of too. We tried to go to Graceland, but they weren't stroller friendly so we backed out!!!
Yes, Liberty Land! Haven't been there in years. The Children's Museum is also great. When they were little I took my girls there. Becca dressed up like a princess and immediately began to hold court with all the little boys who were there. Noelle dressed up like a princess and then grabbed a sword and started fencing everyone! :-)

ReplyDeleteI have heard about that Children's Museum. We should have gone, I think we can get in free with our family pass to Museum of Discovery here in LR.
