If You Give a Moose a Muffin

We are doing a lapbook on the book, "If you Give a Moose a Muffin". What a cute book! In it they talk about the moose eating muffins, which makes him hungry for Jam, he eats all the muffins, then has to go to the store. He goes outside, that makes him need a sweater, the sweater is missing a button, which reminds him of making sock puppets, then they paint scenery for the puppet show, and it goes on and on. So cute! This was geared more toward Rachel's level, but the others always want to participate when we are doing the fun stuff! We worked on our lapbook for awhile, and then we made sock puppets, and then cinnamon muffins. Tomorrow we will have an activity about guessing the number of blueberries in the muffins, so that is on our grocery list. What a great excuse for blueberry muffins!

The top picture was so funny, but the bottom one was so cute, I had to include both.

As Noah made his "scenery" for his puppet, he made himself a boat, and people...this is suppose to be Washington Crossing the Delaware.
I was lazy, I didn't dig for any buttons or yarn, we just used permanent markers. I know we could have made them much cuter, but I didn't have it in me today.
These were YUMMY!
