Productive school day.....

I luckily had a very productive school day Thursday. Which is great considering Monday was Labor day, Tuesday I posted my frustrations, Wednesday I spent the whole day trying to figure out how to rearrange the whole house so that I could have more room for our school area, and Friday I took them to my mom's I think we managed to squeeze in school a couple of those days. So, luckily Thursday we did several math pages, read our next reading story and earned a sticker on the reading chart, had a lesson on water color and how to look at a photo of the ocean and recognize the different colors of blue, had a science lesson about skin and then did fingerprints, made crafts, played with neighbor friends outside, and even did our chores before bed. WHEH, my brain felt like mush at the end of the day....I wonder how the kids felt??

Making bugs out of of fingerprints.
Our fingerprint chart
our nifty little melted bead crafts. Not sure what they are called, but I loved making stuff with these when I was younger, and now they have even cooler shapes. Yes, I made the zebra, and it was fun! And, the nerd I am, I continued to make more of these after the kids went to bed!! Leah did the square, and Noah made the turtle. (Oh, and Noah asked me to take a pic of these to put on my blog to show his friends)
