Last week we went over to Scott Arkansas in hopes of seeing the Toltec Indian Mounds, but it was closed, but on the way to it, we discovered the
Plantation Agriculture Museum. The inside was closed, but we were able to walk around the grounds and look at the old cotton farming equipment. It was really neat! A lot of this equipment was used at the
Marlsgate Plantation that Clay had a
wedding at this past fall, and I didn't get to go, so he took me by there, and it was beautiful!
Yay!!!I know this place!!!I have been wondering recently if they still had the little cafe there with the "hubcap" size hamburgers. My grandparents took me there to both Toltec and this museum as well as the small cafe.I loved it and have been trying to convince Jamie to go this year-well,to take the kids.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you all had a great time,I know this is SO cool!!!
We wanted to go to that restaurant, but couldn't find it, but will be going back soon to the Indian mounds, and will find out where the restaurant is before we go. They have this HUGE hamburger, and if you can eat all of it, it is free....and Clay wants to give it a go! He might can do it, but he may make me sick watching him! I had never even heard of this place until just recently...it is a really cool area....I wouldn't mind living there, it was so peaceful!
ReplyDeleteWow! I have never heard of that place but I love the pictures! I am in love with the flower ones and the one with Noah and the tractor! What a fun place!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures!! And, I've heard stories about that burger!! I'd love to hear if Clay tackles it successfully (or not! HA!).
