My Lucky Duck

There is nothing more exciting than getting a package in the mailbox that says "Royal Mail"! My blog friend Lindsay sent this package to me that I had won on a blog give-away.

A couple of weeks ago, she had a Blogaversary to celebrate her 1st year of blogging. You can read the entries here, here, and here....and I highly recommend it. She will take you on a beautiful tour of East Coast of England to the Seaside town of Whitby. I loved reading about it and seeing all her photos. In day 2, you can see where she talks about the Lucky Duck that I won. I was so excited to hear I had won her give-a-way! Lindsay Ann is the sweetest person, I always love all her blog posts, and her comments she leaves for me, so it is even more special to have my lucky duck now. I want to come up with a special, and safe place to keep it.

Here is my lucky duck. The story behind it tells how so many people that have had these have had good luck. I read they story to the kids, and when I got finished, Leah said, "Good luck...like Good luck that we will get to adopt Zachariah?" I said, "ooh baby, I sure hope so!" I was so excited to win this...when I read her blog posts, I was secretly wishing I could win, never imagining that I would!
