Talan did so well last night, I couldn't have asked for better! He was with another foster family for 2 days, but they moved him b/c she was nervous about his medical condition. She had also said he was pretty fussy, but he has been pretty good for us. Last night, he went to bed at 8:00, woke up at 1:00 then up at 6:00 then slept until 11. Wow! Yay for him, and me...haha Of course, I had the new mommy jitters, and kept listening for every little sound, so I hadn't even gone to sleep when he woke up the first time.
The kids are already in love with him! First thing this morning they were all ready for me to get him.
Zachariah is fascinated by him. He loves babydolls, and loves to pat their face, and I think he is a big baby doll to him. We have to watch him very closely so he doesn't hurt his head, but he loves to pat him. This morning, when I brought Talan down, Zac started jumping in his walker and saying ha ha ha ....sounded like he was saying Hi to him! I am glad to see him adjusting well to the new addition. 
He's precious and seems to fit right in with the family. I always wonder how Tucker will adjust with another one, but ya'll make it looks so easy! Hope his condition improves and he feels all the love your family has for him.
ReplyDeleteSo much to say! You had so many new posts... I got so excited! First, I can't believe how big Z is!! And man, is he cute or what? I hope everything works out w the new baby... he sure is big, just like you said. I just love your blended little family... can't wait to see you all again!!
