our 4th

We had a great 4th of July. I really wanted to take a family photo, b/c one of my all time favorites is one that we took last year (in this post) was on the 4th, and wow how our family has changed since a year ago. Little did we know on that day, that our baby Z was just 2 days old, and in less than 6 weeks he would bless our life, and that 3 more would come along after that! I just didn't feel right getting a family photo with Baby T in the hospital, so that will have to wait. The kids get really excited about this holiday, and wanted to go all out decorating, but I couldn't spare the money for that, so I told them to make their own. So, Noah made himself a top hat out of paper, and a flag paper plate. Very crafty.

My parents came, and we had a great visit.... my mom brought them these big bubble swords that they had a lot of fun with. I don't know why I didn't get a picture of my parents here.

Then, after they left, the kids swam a while, and were really excited when Clay, me, and baby Z joined them.

Then we were off to watch the fireworks. We went downtown this year, but didn't have the best view.
We did have a beautiful view of all the lights along the river while waiting on the fireworks to begin though.

I don't know if you can see in this picture, but the moon was so cool that night.
