more snow!

What a surprise it was to wake up to snow this morning!! When we went to bed last night, it didn't look like we would get anything. I did have a suspicion when I woke up at 2:00...all 3 sick kiddos happen to wake up at once, and I did hear what sounded like sleet hitting the window, and the t.v. was on, and it looked like the snow may get us.

Well, we woke up to white! Poor Rachel, she was still sick, and was crying....what a horrible thing to be sick when there is snow! So, I told her if at any point she felt any better, then she could go out....I just couldn't make her stay in. I figured if she got to feeling bad with that kind of illness, she would just come in on her own.

Dad brought her a snowball...and she threw up shortly after....she wasn't took happy here...but that was her last time to be sick, and she got her spark back soon after.
Her teeth are not rotten, she had jsut been eating a grape popcicle.

Then we let little Z come join the fun, and BOY did he have fun!! (just for Brandy F, I took him outside, and chased him with my camera! :)

our neighbor came over and joined in a snowball fight. He got Rachel good! We were all wet and cold soon after, so we went in for hot chocolate.

And then we looked outside, and it was snowing again, HUGE beautiful snowflakes!!

Within just an hour, it had already snowed a couple of inches, and kept snowing for a while longer.

Z stayed in this time, but sure loved watching out the window.

Then our other neighbor came out, the one that shared the sleds last time, and this time brought the girls her outgrown scarves, hats, and gloves, how sweet of her, they were so cute!!

It was a very long and full day....and I anticipate tomorrow being much of the same.
