Star Wars Cookbook

I found this cookbook at the used book store one day for $6, and I tried to hide it to save it for Christmas, but the lady checking me out got so excited, and wouldn't quit talking about it, so Noah knew I had bought it. I wouldn't let him have it, unless he came up with the money to buy it from me before Christmas. One day he came to me, and he had somehow convinced Leah to willingly put in $4 of her money to his $2 to buy it. She was willing, so I took it.
Our kids have had so much fun with this book. Probably the most used cookbook I have ever had. Noah was itching to get this book, but Leah, our little cook, has used it more than anyone. We have made Yoda Sodas (forgot to take a picture of those) Galaxy grilled cheese, Wookie Cookies.....if you know anything about Star Wars, you would appreciate the humor in this book. Noah mainly likes to just set his toys up for the photo.
This has been a great activity for the kids since we haven't been going places lately. They love to help cook!

Rachel making Wookie Cookies...they were good!

Noah made Sand Trooper Sandies....they were kind of a flop...but that is b/c mom was too lazy to follow the directions correctly!

And, lil sis had to have a turn cooking too. I was out of ingredients, so we just made a batch of blueberry muffins. That girl stood beside the oven for 20 mins to wait for those to cook. I think that is the longest she has ever focused on anything! She did a great job helping me!
