I am so tired right now, I can't even express how tired I am. Can I tell you what my house looks like?? I have bribed and begged my kids to clean, but I don't have the energy to even yell and threaten to get them to do it. I have a baby that won't quit screaming unless I am holding him...and my arms are about to fall off. Ahh, I just want to crawl in the bed, and never come out.
hang in there, this will pass. I hope you can get some sleep tonight and that the baby stops screaming. I hope you don't have some early teeth coming in or something.
ReplyDeleteyou need a really good sling....actually the best way i found to carry a baby around is the African way. i can't even explain it, but all you need is about 3 yards of fabric. no sewing or anything. just wrap him next to ya and knot it. and you are still welcome to my ergo, though i really didn't like the infant insert part. my little guy didn't find it a very comfortable hold, but yours might.
ReplyDeleteas for the tiredness, it comes and goes. but it's worth it in the long run. you just aren't always sure right in the middle of the feeling and when you haven't seen any fruits of your labor. you'll start noticing differences in the kids, and seeing the difference they're making in your own life, and those moments of genuine blessing and joy will carry you through the tired, frustrating times.
oh yes, I'm a sling mama too. Get one, you'll love it. try hugamonkey.com
