Have you ever had the PERFECT day?? A month or 2 before our lives had a big change, we had one of those days. It was a Saturday. I believe it was during our busy wedding time, and we had a Saturday off. Very rare around here. Being home together all week long, you would think that Saturday would be like any other day...but it is still Saturday, even for us. No pressure to sit at the computer and do work. No pressure to have school. This day, it rained, and the temperature was just right, and we had a very nice, quiet, and relaxing day. No stressing about the house being clean. No fighting. The kids had mom and dad's full attention. Just a good day. We all agreed it was the "perfect" day for us.
This photo is just to show how we have NO PRIVACY in our backyard. Not only that...they are outside ALL the time. Anytime you go out there, or even look out the window, they are out there. And have 2 or 3 big dogs in that little backyard that bark ALL the time. I think the neighbors were gone this day, and the dogs were quiet. Even nicer.
After enjoying the outdoors, Daddy built a huge tent out of our light stands, and they had popcorn, a movie, and a sleepover/campout.
i loved having a "tent" made out of kitchen chairs and sheet or whatever. looks like a lot of fun!! :)
