She has asked me hundreds of times when she would get to go to school, so, yesterday was her 1st day of preschool with us. It is at a daycare that accepts the DHS vouchers that pay for it, but they do have a preschool program. She was SO excited about going. She has gone to daycare before so I think this is something that is normal for her. Yesterday evening after I picked her up, everything went really well and was calm. I think she burned up a lot of her energy at school. I kept asking her what all she did, and the only thing she told was that she got to eat cupcakes. She was just as excited about going today. (more than the other kids, that's for sure). They don't need backpacks, but I found her this princess pencil case, and she loves it.
They were so funny, after the put their arms around each other for the picture, then they walked all the way back in the house arm in arm, almost tripping over the steps....it kinda reminded me of a 3 legged race. haha
How sweet! So glad that preschool is working out for her.. and your sake too!
ReplyDeleteso sweet!! that will be good for her to be around other kiddos during the day and start learning and all that jazz plus good for you so that you are able to get more rest at night time. (fingers crossed!) :)
