Yep. I couldn't stand it anymore. I pulled them out of school and they are back with us. I couldn't be happier. This is what feels right for us. I am in the process of getting my barings again and digging back out the school stuff, in the meantime we are working on a Pirate lapbook via Noah's request. Then it is on to the Solar System, Zebras for Leah, and more work on Rachel's alphabet lapbook, that she says she missed. I took these pictures of Rachel right before school started. I couldn't stand to even look at them or post them, as I was actually mourning them going to school. Reading all my friend's talk about their homeschooling made me sad, and I missed them terribly through the day. The addition of 3 kids to our family didn't lesson that loss either. The 4 weeks I had them in school was enough for me to realize that I love homeschooling our kids, and no, I am not screwing them up by doing it. 
good for you! i could tell you were pretty miserable about the whole school situation.
ReplyDeleteKEEP THAT ATTITUDE when people question you. I kind of picture you as someone that would let others bother them with their thoughts about it. I AM PROUD OF YOU FOR DOING WHAT YOU WANT TO WITH YOUR KIDS!!!
