Whew....are you tired of New Orleans pics yet?? Sorry to show you so many, but it was a photographer's dream there. I don't know if I would ever run out of stuff to take pictures of!
This was one of my favorite buildings
This one below was kinda interesting. It was just a red wall inside that you could see through the door, but that diagonal stripe....that was just from the sun coming in the window.
Clay said this was a German Cockroach? He laughed at me taking a picture of it, but the we are getting ready to study bugs with the kids, and I like to have real life photos for our lapbooks.
I know nothing about this building, but thought it was so cool

This is the World Trade Center. That was it's name. I thought only New York had one, but any city that has a shipping port has one.
The French Market Here there were several vendors/booths set up to shop. It was really neat. I was just a bit dissapointed that a lot of the stuff was just junk they had bought in bulk somewhere to sell, and not natively made in the area.
This was in Harrah's casino. We ended up spending a while that afternoon in here b/c the air was cranked up in there! We just had fun blowing a bit of money playing slot machines. This is only the 2nd time I have ever even been in a casino...but this one was HUGE and very nice. They had an awesome buffet in there too. Any kind of food you could ever think of. We just walked throught it to see it, and then walked back outside in the heat of the day and decided this was the place to be. Then we decided to leave to go eat somewhere, stepped outside again, and decided this was just fine! It was like an oasis in the desert! LOL
There was a beautiful sunset that night shining through the buildings
These signs were everywhere...telling the previous name of the streets.
This is the street sign for the street our hotel was on.

I LOVED looking at all the pics and reading about your trip! I'm so glad you decided to go on down there. Your pics make me want to go. I'd probably have to go with another photographer because Gerald and Jackson would get annoyed with the amount of pics I would take! :)
