our "vacation" last weekend

That is what the kids called our weekend trip, "our vacation". We tagged along with Clay to Blytheville while he had a wedding, I took the kids.....swimming. Yes, my favorite thing to do. When we booked the room, we saw it had an indoor and outdoor pool, so I thought I was in luck....I could read in the air conditioning while the kids swam until they dropped. Well, the indoor pool was not airconditioned, and it was hotter and more humid in there than outside. Ugh... but the kids had a blast.....the only plan was to swim....they were in heaven! LOL I did actually swim with them Friday night, but Saturday there were so many kids in the pool I couldn't bring myself to get in, as I would have been the only adult in that pool.
Rachel was all decked out before we left the house
We stopped off in Brinkley to eat at AMECA on the way...that was the highlight of the trip for me! LOL
I told them they had to smile for a picture before I would take them swimming.....my how that works! haha

We put the camera on the timer and set it on the tv to take our picture
She came over and asked me to get in the pool with her, and I told her I would if she would smile for the camera! So I did....
Girl after my own heart. She is always taking pictures of herself...I love it! Again, she looks SO OLD to me in this picture!

  1. Noah and Blessing look a lot alike when they "dive". I'm betting Noah actually can, but that picture is hilarious and looks just like one I have of Blessing. She just puts her hands together over her head, bends a little over, but then jumps in feet first. Cracks me up!

  2. Sounds like a lot of fun!! So how did it go from you taking the pics, to clay taking them? :) I know what you mean about swimming with a bunch of kiddos! They seem to get more rambunctious! I like to float and relax! :)
